Yesterday was a full day in Martinique. It began at the Musée de la Canne where we learned about sugar cane plantations and the production and use of sugar cane. This also meant learning about the history of slavery in Martinique: how slaves were acquired, treated, and punished. ‪#‎asc_martinique‬ ‪#‎mysummit‬
